The Greatest Words Ever Spoken compiled by Steven K. Scott

The book The Greatest Words Ever Spoken compiled by Steven K. Scott is a book I think every Christian should have on hand.

The purpose of this book is to categorize and organize the promises, commands, and words of Jesus in a manner which is easy to navigate. Each chapter or section begins with a brief summary of the specific words and sayings that are to follow. The section is then further broken down into smaller categories. This process makes it easy for the reader to quickly find the information they are looking for.

Steven K. Scott encourages and even challenges Christians to know what Jesus said. He lets the reader know how important the words of Jesus are for our Christian walk and points out that not knowing them keeps us from doing them.

Jesus' greatest promises were made to those who will hear His words and do them. His words will provide abundant light and perfect wisdom for any decision you face and all the power you will need to overcome any adversity. But the promises He makes and the power He offers will never be known by those who refuse to hear His words.

I like this book because of how it is broken down and organized. There are nine chapters in this book and each chapter has anywhere from one to seventy nine sections dealing with everything from the Holy Spirit to Seeing with Spiritual Eyes. If Jesus said it then you can find it in this book and you can find it easily. This is a great go to source for study, encouragement and teaching. I also really apprecaite the fact that Mr. Scott did not take credit for writing this book. He is listed as the one who compiled the book but he clearly stated on the front of the book that it was written by Jesus.

I have included an excerpt from the book below so that you can check it out for yourself.

My recommendation is to get this book and keep it as reference material.
