Most commonly in the Hellenist culture of first century Christianity a disciple was known as not just a follower but as an adherent to the instruction of the one they followed. I am Christian who is taking discipleship seriously and hoping to inspire others to do the same along the way. Many followed Christ; few adhered to His teaching.
